Title: Author and Prayer Warrior

Favorite Bible Verse: My favorite Bible verse is ever changing but Psalm 143:8 was my Verse for this year. “Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭143:8‬ ‭NIV)‬‬

Home Base: My home base is Cerro Gordo, Illinois right in the middle of corn country. Cerro Gordo is about 15 miles east of Decatur in the country, a bigger city in downstate Illinois. 

Career: My most important career was raising 7 kids. We have 5 daughters of our own and raised two of our grandsons. At 38 I went back to school to become a respiratory therapist and worked for 20 years and retired at 60 years of age.

Hobbies: My hobby is doing crafts by watching little videos that instruct me how to do them. Although I have gotten better and do most things on my own. I started this hobby during the Covid shutdown so I call the crafts pandemic-crafting. I also love looking up our ancestors. I have a blog that I write devotional thoughts and I’m putting them all in a book I’m trying to get ready to publish.

Why I love the Lord:I love who He is, Creator, Redeemer, Father. Because of who He is I am a child of God, I am saved, I am redeemed by His precious blood. Multiple things He has done for me.
